Youth Accounts

The Youth Account is for members between the ages of 14-17 and is a great way for your children to start saving and learn how to be cautious with money. The Youth Account can be opened with $5.00 and a valid Texas I.D. (when applicable) along with a social security card. An adult guardian must also meet the same requirements and be on the account until the minor is 18 years of age.

Super Star Custodial UTMA Savings Account:

Allows you to save on a minor’s behalf and distribute the funds when the child reaches maturity.

  • The Custodian has access to manage the funds in this account on behalf of  the minor.
  • The Custodian is responsible for distributing the funds to the minor when the minor reaches the age of 18 or 21, depending on state law.

Youth Checking Account

Youth between the ages of 14 – 17 qualify for our special Youth checking upon opening the Minor/Joint savings account. It is a great first checking account designed to help students learn how to manage their money. Please remember that youth under the age of 18 will need a parent/guardian as a joint member on the account to qualify.
