What are the grounds for my account being closed?

Several factors can lead in your account being closed. These include:

  • A change in owners of the account (For this we request that you open a new account after termination of the first)
  • Forgery or fraud has been committed/reported on your account
  • There is a dispute in ownership of the account
  • Any share checks/drafts have been stolen or lost in relation to your account
  • Many returned or unpaid items not covered under our overdraft protection plan
  • Any misrepresentation has been discovered on your account
  • If we feel that your existing account may pose a loss to our institution
